A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS MONTIVAGUM (ACARIFORMES: TROMBICULIDAE) FROM KYRGYZSTAN

Annotation:

The description is given of a new species of Montivagum, M.alaicus sp.n. The mite was found in the Alai, inside the ear of the silver field-vole, Alticola argentatus Severtzov, 1879.

The holotype is deposited in the Biology Institute of the Academy of Science of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek.
