Acknowledgments:

The author wishes to express his thanks to Dr. A.S.Leley for critically reading the manuscript. My best thanks are due to the following specialists who identified hosts of the mites: O. Kalinina (Scarabaeidae), A. Kupyanskaya (Formicidae), P. Lehr (Asilidae), P. Nemkov (Sphecidae), A. Osetchyuk (Andrenidae).

Annotation:

Two genera Schulzea Zachvatkin, 1941 and Lackerbaueria Zachvatkin, 1941, and five species of acarid mites, Schulzea caucasico Zachvatkin, 1941, Lackerbaueria cribratissima Zachvatkin, 1941, Sancassaniageotruporum Zachvatkin, 1941, S. spinitarsus (Hermann, 1804) and Schwiebea laphriae (Samsinak, 1956), comb, m., are recorded in the Far East of Russia for the first time. The genus Schulzea and species Schwiebea laphriae are new to the fauna of Russia. The distribution of further three littleknown species in the Far East is refined. The genus Schulzea, hitherto treated as incertae sedis, is assigned to the tribe Tyrophagini, subfamily Acarinae. Data on the biology and morphological variations of some species are presented.
