A NEW FEATHER MITE GENUS OF THE SUBFAMILY ALLOPTINAE (ANALGOIDEA: ALLOPTIDAE) FROM THE IBISBILL (CHARADRIIFORMES: IBIDORHYNCHIDAE)

Annotation:

Paradoxalloptes ibidorhynchae gen.п., sp.n. is described from the ibisbill Ibidorhyncha struthersi (Charadriiformes: Ibidorhynchidae). Relationships of genera and subgenera within the generic group Alloptes (Alloptinae) are briefly discussed.
