Annotation:

Two new species of mites of the family Rhinon-yssidae are described: Sternostomoides graculi sp.n. from Graculus graculus (L.) (Corvidae, Passeri-formes) collected in Kirgizstan and Sternostomoides numerovi sp.n. from Eremopteryx leucotis (Stanley) (Alaudidae, Passeriformes) collected in Guinea. The species list and differential diagnosis of the genus Sternostomoides are given.
