Annotation:

The new species of mites of the superfamily Eriophyoidea Novophytoptus glyceriae and N. am-mophilae are described and illustrated. These species were found as vagrants on the leaves of the following grasses: Glyceria maxima (Hartman) Holmb and Ammophila arenaria (L.) Link.
