Annotation:

Two new species of quill mites (Acari: Prostig-mata: Syringophilidae) are collected from passer-ine birds (Passeriformes) of Poland: Picobia mod-ularis sp. n. from dunnock Prunella modularis (Prunellidae) and P. currucae sp. n. from the lesser whitethroat Sylvia curruca (Sylviidae).
