Annotation:

The description of male, female and larva of a new water mite species Pseudohydryphantes riva-lis is given. The species is similar to P. parvulus and easily distinguishable from the latter by the large mobile stylet of the chelicera (1/2 length of a basal segment) and the large number of setae (4-8) on genu of the pedipalp.
