THREE NEW SPECIES OF ORIBATID MITES (ACARINA, ORIBATIDA:
HAPLOCHTHONIIDAE) FROM THE ANTARCTIC CONTINENT

Annotation:
Three new species, Haplochthonius antarcti-cus, H. maitri and H. longisetosus, collected from mosses and soil in the Antarctic Continent are described and illustrated. The family Haplochtho-niidae is recorded for the first time from Antarctica.
