A new species, Banksinoma orbiculata sp. n. is described from the steppe habitats in Eastern Mongolia. In addition, supplementary description of a little known species, Banksinoma exobothridialis Bayartogtokh, 1997, collected from the nest of the ant species, Formica rufa, located in the mountain steppe and temperate taiga forest habitats in Central Mongolia is given. Data on ecology and distribution of each species of oribatids are given.
