Six new species of the genus Biscirus Thor, 1927 (Prostigmata: Bdellidae) from South Africa are described and illustrated: B. lootsi sp. п., Б. psammina sp. п., B. kleinmondensis    sp. п. , B, skuinsbaaiensis sp. п., B. amplexus sp. п., and Б. magdalenae sp. n.. A key to the South African species is given.
