A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS PETALOMIUM (ACARI: HETEROSTIGMATINA: NEOPYGMEPHORIDAE) FROM WESTERN SIBERIA WITH REDESCRIPTION OF PETALOMIUM NATALIAE (SEVASTIANOV, 1967)

Annotation:

A new species of the genus Petalomium Cross, 1965 (Acari: Pygmephoroidea: Neopygmephoridae), E. kurosai sp. n. is described from ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) in Western Siberia, Russia. A closely related species, P. nataliae (Sevastianov, 1967) is recorded from Russia for the first time and redescribed.
