The redescription of Punctoribates tschernovi Shtanchaeva and Subías, 2014 (Oribatida: Punctoribatidae) is presented based on the material collected from the coastal grove of Elaeagnus caspica in the Samursky National Park, Dagestan, Russia. The main morphological traits of this species are specified and summarized.
