A new species of Carabodes (Klapperiches) (Oribatida, Carabodidae)—C. (K.) lindquisti sp. n.—is described from Guatemala, based on materials collected from lichens and moss mats on rocks. In addition, an identifcation key to the known species of the subgenus from the Neotropical region is provided.
