ABSTRACT: Two new species of Microdispidae (Acari: Pygmephoroidea), Dolichodispus neotropicus sp. n. and Cochlodispus mexicanus sp. n. are described from the forest litter in Mexico. The genus Dolichodispus Khaustov is recorded from the Neotropical region for the first time. The current diagnosis of the genus Cochlodispus Mahunka is discussed. In addition, a key to the species of the Dolichodispus genus is provided.
