The oribatid mite species Banksinoma longisetosa Bayartogtokh and Aoki, 1998 (Oribatida: Thyrisomidae) is recorded for the first time from the Tyumenskaya Oblast, Russia. A supplementary description of this species, summarizing its main morphological traits, is presented, based on the adults collected from a sphagnum bog. A list of identified taxa, including 96 species, belonging to 64 genera and 35 families—collected in the spring of 2025 from the vicinity of Lake Kuchak, Nizhnetavdinsky District, Tyumenskaya Oblast, Russia—is provided.
