Annotation:
The oribatid mite species, Pergalumna emarginata (Oribatida, Galumnidae), is recorded for the first time in Russia. It redescribed and illustrated in detail on the basis of Russian specimens collected from bog mosses in the European part and an ant hill in western Siberia. The morphological differences relate to cuticular sculpturing between populations in Russia and U.S.A. are listed.
